Presentation Evaluation
I think my presentation went well, in terms of delivery i think i spoke strongly and clearly throughout my presentation. In terms of the audience and interacting, i think i got the audiences' attention and even when i added humour i don't think anybody lost attention. The presentation went we'll because i was confident, and i was ready, if were to add a fault it would be that my back was to some of the audience at times.
Superman Typography Evaluation
Typography was a good project it taught me a lot research wise it was one of the best because there was so many places to get different examples of typography such as vemeo, youtube and others. I was able to find different types of typography and varying styles of typography too. I enjoyed it because i didn't really know what typography was before and making my own typography video was good. The thing i didn't enjoy was that i could go totally along with my original plan and because of time i had to make it simple, i think it turned out well but i could have done a lot more if i can the time.

Rush Hour Movie: Typography
The words are laid on vertically like a list, as if he's listing the words its as if he's making it easier for the other person to understand.
When he raises his voice the words appear one by one on the screen the add emphasis on what he's saying. Also the letters change colours when he's trying to communicate to the other person.
When they start talking to each other the words change colour and so does the background also the way the words are displayed on the screen changes.

Pulp Fiction in Typography
When he speaks the words arrange themselves into the shape of a gun, the gun amplifies what he's doing when he points towards the other guy the big gun also does it as well. As he talks more the words create a wall and when Samuel Jackson shoots the man, the big gun also goes off and the words explode acting like a bullet has just hit the letters.Thursday, 19 January 2012

Rocky Balboa Motivational Speech - Kinetic Typography

The letters in the are bold as if a statements being made, when Rocky raises his voice and speaks in a certain way the words move differentlly
or they get bigger or smaller. When he says the word forward the letters are italics for e.g "keep moving foward".

The way the words pop up on the screen intensifies the word, the word " HIT " is written in capitals this draws your eyes to it and makes it more of a statement
Effects are used to animate the words and give them life such as the effect used on the words"GET HIT" not only is it capital but the way it appears on the screen
makes the words seem like they've impacted the screen which brings the words to life.
As well as making a statement the typography draws the viewers attention by not only enlarging certain words but words that relate to each other are enlarged, this is done to draw the audiences. I've used this picture to show this effect clearly the words "MEAN" and "NASTY" are bigger than the rest.
inception - Don't Think About Elephants (Kinetic Typography)
I never said Batman! (Kick-Ass Movie) - Kinetic Typography HD

All the words in the dialogue are written with font but the word batman is illlustrated as a man with the batman sign, for e.g " I never said " then the picture of the man with the batman sign in place of the word batman. The pictures show this clearly.

In this screen the use man is represented instead of the word

In this screen the use man is represented instead of the word
"guy". The other words are written normally apart from this. Also when the word batman is said the costume changes into a batman costume, this is done to further illustrate the dialogue and add an effect.
